We provide over 700 customers across 70 countries with safety-critical avionics and high-performance components, for advanced air mobility (AAM) including UAVs, drones, and eVTOL aircraft, all developed in compliance with the highest aeronautical certification standards (DO178C, DO254, STANAG, etc.).

Our technology supports a wide range of programs, from defense and security applications to urban air mobility, cargo transport, and even space-related recovery projects.

The core of Embention is our R&D organization, with more than 100 engineers across multiple disciplines. Together with the rest of the team, we are a global organization of 175+ professionals aligned around one mission.

Today, Embention has a strong presence in Spain, a growing local team in Los Angeles (USA), and a high-tech production facility in Abu Dhabi (UAE).

🌟 What would your mission be?

You will play a key role in leading Embention’s expansion in the U.S. Defense sector, based in Los Angeles.

Your mission will be to identify and develop defense-related business opportunities, build and strengthen long-term relationships with key stakeholders, and position Embention as a trusted supplier of safety-critical avionics and autopilot systems for the U.S. Defense programs.

You will work closely with internal teams (product, engineering, marketing, and management) to ensure a strong market presence, aligned strategy, and high-quality customer engagement.

đź’ˇ What will your responsibilities be?

  • Consolidate Embention’s Business Development activities in the United States, with a strong focus on the Defense sector

  • Build and maintain relationships with Defense customers, primes, integrators, and strategic partners

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within the U.S. Defense programs and initiatives

  • Represent Embention at drone and local Defense-focused events, meetings, and industry forums

  • Manage and grow key accounts, presenting new solutions, product updates, and roadmap alignment

  • Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth flow of technical, commercial, and strategic information

  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, proposing actionable growth strategies


🕵️‍♀️ What do we need?

  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset

  • Ability to operate in a strategic, fast-growing, and technically complex environment

  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, Los Angeles, California (USA)

  • Genuine interest in Defense, aerospace, autonomy, and advanced technologies

  • Established relationships within the U.S. Defense ecosystem, including programs, agencies, primes, or integrators

  • Experience navigating Defense acquisition and procurement processes

  • Proven ability to identify and develop strategic business opportunities

  • Solid understanding of the Defense market structure and stakeholders

  • Demonstrated success in Business Development, Capture Management, or Program Liaison roles within Defense, aerospace, or advanced unmanned systems

📚 What do we value?

  • Strong technical background, ideally in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.

  • Experience and education in Sales or Business Development. MBA is a strong plus. 

  • Interest or experience in high-tech sectors such as drones, UAVs, autonomy, or advanced aerospace technologies.

  • Experience as a pilot or radio control hobbyist.

  • Eagerness to grow a business, make a difference, and help populate the skies across the United States through cutting-edge autonomous aviation technology,
